Arthur Miller

Arthur Miller (1915 – 2005) was an American playwright, essayist, publicist and screenwriter. He was a successor of Henrik Ibsen’s model of drama, together with T. Williams one of the most important playwrights of 20th century (All My Sons, Death of Salesman, The Crucible, A View from the Bridge, A Memory of Two Mondays, After the Fall, Incident at Vichy, The Price, The American Clock, Broken Glass), also writer of fiction (Focus, Homely Girl, I Don’t Need You Anymore), screenwriter (movie The Misfits) and author of autobiography (Timebends: A Life).
