Alexander Podrabinek (1953) is a Russian journalist living in Moscow, human rights activist, editor-in-chief of Prima information agency and Ekspress-Khronika newspaper. He works at Radio France Internationale and Radio Liberty. In 1970s and 80s he documented and published his observations of psychiatric abuse for political purposes in USSR, for which he was even sentenced to five years of internal exile. Today he contribues to Nova gazeta and Ježednevny žurnal.
